Our Christmas season is one of joyful generosity and giving. Here are two special ways you can give back this season:

Purchase a Poinsettia

*Sources of Hope 20% discount does not apply to fundraising events.

Christmas Poinsettia Dedications

Each year, Cathedral of Hope’s Advent decor is brightened by hundreds of poinsettias dedicated by our community. For $40, you can honor a special friend or family member by dedicating a poinsettia. Dedications will be printed in the Christmas Eve worship guide in the format of ‘In honor of:” or “In celebration of:"

The deadline to place your order is Sunday, December 22, 2024. You may make your poinsettia dedications anytime by clicking the button at left or by giving cash or check in the Flower Envelopes located in the Sanctuary.

Gifts for Kids

Each year at Christmas, we partner with Maple Lawn Elementary School (right across Inwood Road) and David G. Burnet Elementary School (around the corner at Marsh Lane and Walnut Hill) to provide gifts for students who might otherwise go without. Every year, you open your hearts and give generously, making this a season of celebration for those most in need in our community.

In order to provide more gifts to the students of Maple Lawn and Burnet, we have set up Amazon wish lists  with all of the gifts requested by the students. With your help, we can provide gifts for all the students at Maple Lawn and Burnett who are in need. Gifts (averaging about $10-40 per gift) purchased through this Amazon list by December 19 will be shipped directly to the school and distributed to the children in time for Christmas. Thank you for supporting the children of our community!
