Celebrating 54 Years of Proclaiming the Message of God's Inclusive Love

"Attending Cathedral of Hope has been a transformative experience for me. The inclusive and affirming community has allowed me to grow in my faith and embrace my true self

without fear of judgment.

Through powerful worship services, small groups, and impactful benevolence ministries, I have witnessed lives being changed and hope being restored. This church has not only deepened my spiritual journey but also connected me with a loving and supportive community."

Cathedral of Hope

54th Anniversary

In 1970, 12 people gathered as friends here in Dallas with a bold vision – to create a community of faith that would welcome ALL of God’s people. On July 28, 2024, we celebrated 54 years of raising our voices - to speak God’s love for ALL people regardless of age, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other labels that others would use as a barrier to God’s radically inclusive, extravagant, boundless, and beautiful love.

This year’s anniversary held particular significance as we welcomed back our beloved Rev. Dr. Neil G. Thomas from his well-deserved sabbatical. Rev. Thomas’s leadership has been instrumental in guiding our congregation with wisdom, compassion, and a commitment to social justice.

There are many ways to celebrate our 54th Anniversary: Hosting an Anniversary Dinner, Making a Gift to Support Cathedral of Hope, or Joining us for Worship!

Cathedral of Hope is turning 54, and we're excited to celebrate this momentous occasion with a series of community events throughout the rest of the year!

Here's How You Can Be a Part of the Fun:

We invite YOU to host your own dinner party, cocktail gathering, or any creative event you can dream up! Gather your friends, family, fellow church members, small group, or even your life group for an evening (or afternoon!) of fellowship and fundraising in honor of Cathedral of Hope's incredible journey.

Why Host Your Own Event?
