Music for Your Soul

Our music ministry is the largest volunteer group at Cathedral of Hope (CoH). It provides outstanding and meaningful musical experiences for worship and special events. We are dedicated to the highest quality musical performance to enhance worship, and inspire our congregants. It is widely known as one of the finest church music programs in the region.

1 Corinthians 14:15 “What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit,

but I will pray with my mind also; I will sing praise with my spirit,

but I will sing with my mind also.”

The CoH Music Ministry has 5 performing groups.

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir of CoH provides choral music for our traditional Sunday worship services, as well as special concerts and events. The choir is made up of both amateur and professional musicians, and strives for the highest quality performances and worship presentations. The choir is open to all individuals, no audition necessary other than a check for voice part. The choir rehearses every Thursday evening, and leads the congregation each Sunday morning at 8:30 and 10am. Watch video featuring the Sanctuary Choir from Lent 2024.

Cathedral of Hope Orchestra

The CoH Orchestra, along with the Sanctuary Choir, provides music for our traditional Sunday worship services, as well as special concerts and events. Consisting of strings, percussion, woodwinds, and brass instruments, this full orchestra accompanies the chorus and congregation, as well as provides special instrumental experiences for worship. Players range from amateur level to professional level musicians. The CoH Orchestra rehearses once a month - the first Saturday of each month - and before Sunday services. Voices of Hope & Band

Voices of Hope is a small ensemble of singers whose primary focus is contemporary worship. The Voices of Hope Ministry exists to model and facilitate modern worship and build community within the body of the church, and to be ministers of the gospel through music and song. Voices of Hope and Band lead the praise and worship segment every Sunday morning for the Hope@11:45 contemporary worship service. They also occasionally provide special music during the traditional Sunday morning services and special annual concerts. Harmony of Hope

We are an a cappella vocal group open to all genders, all orientations and all faiths. Harmony of Hope rehearses each week on Sunday afternoons from 3pm-5pm. We sing music from various genres including Pop, Broadway, Jazz and Country.

Cathedral Bells

A traditional hand bell choir, the Cathedral Bells (formerly known as the Cathedral Ringers) provides special music for traditional Sunday morning services, special events, and concerts. This proficient ensemble welcomes anyone interested in this unique style of music.
