Volunteer. Be a Part of Our Story!

The Bible says: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Lord in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Whatever your talents are, we have opportunities for volunteering in our church community. From simple tasks like helping with mailings or serving food to our guests, to professional-quality training with our Hope Media Team,

we have a spot for you!

Volunteering is Easy and Fun!

First Impressions

Be the first to welcome guests as soon as they arrive, answer any questions people might have, help find the best seats available, and be sure introduce them to Sources of Hope so they can shop ‘til they drop!

Hope Media Ministry

Help create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. Operate cameras, lights, sound, and graphics to support worship.

On Sundays our Hope Media Team volunteers produce four distinct worship services (one in Spanish) that are viewed by folks in over 35 countries around the world. Director of Hope Media Ministry, Fernando Moreno expressed: “I am so grateful to work with our dedicated volunteers who range from beginners to industry professionals.”

And Jesus said to his followers, “Go everywhere in the world, and tell the Good News to everyone.” Mark 16:15

Music Ministry

The music ministry at Cathedral of Hope is our largest volunteer group and consists of five performing ensembles.

The Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra provide fabulous music for our 8:30am and 10am traditional worship services, and special events. Voices of Hope and the Praise Band leads our 11:45am contemporary worship service and also performs sometimes during our traditional services, and special events. Harmony of Hope is an all-gender a cappella vocal group that performs occasionally during worship and special events. Cathedral Ringers is a traditional hand bell choir that performs occasionally during worship services.

If you have a musical background and would like to be a part of any of these exciting groups we would love to hear from you! LEARN MORE>

Worship

Talented and committed volunteers make up our campus worship teams. These teams serve the mission of our church by creating an atmosphere that helps people experience God’s presence.

Next Generations

Help shape our next generations of children, youth, and young adults by engaging them in age-appropriate programs of both spiritual and fellowship activities.

The Gospel has a message for everyone, of every age. Sharing and exploring faith when they are young gives children and youth guidance, hope and strength that lasts a lifetime. The Children's and Youth Ministries provide a nurturing, loving environment for young people exploring the world. It is a safe place where our faith guides learning, exploration and self-discovery.

Be a part of this ministry and help inspire young minds!

Benevolence and Outreach

Helping those in need in our community is a core part of who we are. We have three meal programs that serve hot meals to folks experiencing food insecurity. iCARE serves lunch on Mondays and offers a small bag of non-perishable grocery items. Breakfast at Cathedral of Hope (BACH) serves a hot, restaurant style breakfast on Saturday mornings. Taste of Hope prepares and delivers meals directly to folks living on the streets in Dallas. Our newest food program, Hope GYFTS Food Rescue collects and distributes boxes of fresh food and other items from local grocery stores and other vendors that would be thrown away and wasted.

These and other programs provide much needed help to some of the most vulnerable in our community. Won't you consider how you might help? LEARN MORE>
