We know coming to a new place can be intimidating, so we invite you to experience Cathedral of Hope at your own pace. When you visit, drop by the Connect Center near the entrance of the building. After worship swing by to receive a welcome gift and learn more about our church. We will be happy to answer any questions you have and help you to get connected..


If you're worshipping with children, please know that kids are always welcome in worship. We also have child care and children’s church for kids from infancy to 5th grade.  Any of the greeters or ushers can direct you to the Children's Check-In.

Cathedral of Hope's in-person campus is located in Dallas, Texas near Dallas Love Field Airport and the city's famous Oak Lawn neighborhood (also known as the gayborhood).

When You Get Here


While Cathedral of Hope has plenty of parking, it can be tricky to find our entrances. You can access our parking lots from Inwood Road or through our main entrance on Cedar Springs Road.


On Sundays, parking is also available in the Resource Center parking lot, or in the dirt lot behind the Interfaith Peace Chapel

 

The main entrance to our Sanctuary is through the John Thomas Bell Wall. 

 

Worshiping online?

Worship with us from anywhere! All of our worship services are live-streamed on our website, Facebook and on YouTube.


Want to learn more about the services we offer, or get a sneak peek at worship or a sermon, our services are always available on our website.

Cathedral of Hope has programs for people of all ages, including children and youth.


We offer Children's Church for children between infancy and 5th grade. We meet in person on Sundays during 10am service for faith-filled and fun programming. Childcare for the littlest ones is available during all four worship services on Sundays.


If you attend in person, our friendly greeters will show you where our Cathedral kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have.

Have questions? Here are some frequently asked questions. If you are still curious, let us know!

  • What should I wear?

    Wear whatever makes you comfortable. There is no dress code. You’ll see some people in dresses and suits and others in jeans and shorts.

  • Can I bring my children?

    Our Children & Families Ministry (birth – 5th grade) offers some of the most exciting and imaginative children’s programming around. Your children will insist on a return visit.

  • I'm not a member of any church, will I be welcome?

    Yes!  We welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds.  We believe that Jesus came to include people not exclude.  

  • Where is Cathedral of Hope?

    Cathedral of Hope is located about a mile Northeast of Interstate 35 and Inwood Road at 5910 Cedar Springs Road in Dallas, Texas, near Love Field Airport.  Look for the entrance monument on Cedar Springs Rd. near the Resource Center of Dallas.

  • Is CoH Part of A Denomination?

    Yes, Cathedral of Hope is part of the United Church of Christ. The UCC is a mainline progressive Protestant denomination that is known for its commitments to racial, gender, economic, and environmental justice. Cathedral of Hope started out as a member of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC).

  • There are hundreds of churches in Dallas (and many more online) - Why should I visit Cathedral of Hope?

    Here at Cathedral of Hope, we believe that ALL people are welcome – no matter your gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity. In a world where Christianity has been used to proclaim hate, hurt, fear and exclusion, Cathedral of Hope strives to be a church of inclusion, hope and love. When we say y’all means all, we really mean it. 

With Four Sunday Worship Services, There's A Place For You!

Traditional Worship

8:30am &10:00am

Our 8:30am and 10:00am services  are more traditional. They are filled with wonderful music and follow a more traditional format. These popular services feature more pageantry and structure than other services yet carry a progressive message.

 Contemporary Worship

11:45am

Our 11:45am service is more contemporary. It is much less formal format filled with energetic music and the same progressive message.
