Congregational Care Ministries (CCM) is a network of lay volunteers that works in collaboration with our pastoral and professional staff to meet needs of individuals and families in our faith community. When you find yourself experiencing illness, hospitalization, death, or other challenges, the CCM will connect you with the appropriate resource that best responds to meet your needs.
The Congregational Care Ministries offers:
Calls and Visitations are offered by a member of the CCM team, who have been trained to minister on behalf of the Cathedral of Hope, and to act as a disciples of Jesus Christ, reaching out to those in need. The person or family in need, will be supported spiritually by someone who is sensitive to the needs, with care, confidentiality and privacy. The visitation can be done to those who are hospitalized, unwell in their home or at a care facility.
Prayer will be provided and if requested, communion and anointing can be provided.
Every week, prayer requests for the members, visitors, staff, and friends of the Cathedral of Hope are compiled into a general prayer list.
A prayer request list is circulated at the Cathedral of Hope weekly staff meeting.
The prayer lists are made available to members of the intercessory prayer teams and the items and people on the list are prayed for daily. Many non-prayer team members take the lists and pray for the requests, as well as the staff of Cathedral of Hope during the staff meetings.
Bereavement is being present for member/friends of members who are currently in transition or have made their transition.
The CCM team member offers the following services:

At Cathedral, we also have a columbarium and memorial garden that serve as a living memorial to those who have gone before us.
