I hope that you are looking forward to worshipping this Sunday; I know that I am. I am looking forward to welcoming back the full orchestra and choir and I want to specifically invite YOU to come as well.
Many of us have already begun returning to public worship at Cathedral of Hope and, if you have not already done so, this might be a great Sunday to join us. Traditional worship services are at 8:30am and 10am and, Contemporary/Modern worship is offered at 11:45am, and 1:30pm worship in Spanish. Additionally, our online worship service is featured on Facebook and YouTube at 11am.
We have been back in-person since Easter Sunday and have been careful to follow guidelines that provide as much safety as possible for everyone. We will continue to follow these guidelines and monitor the impact of recent holidays, as well as the variants that are beginning to cause some concern.
I also want to ask you to consider your personal giving to Cathedral of Hope. With additional services come additional expenses and you can help us meet those expenses to ensure that we can continue to help people reclaim their sense of the sacred and holy – ultimately bringing about a world of love and grace.
Additionally, at the end of July we will celebrate our anniversary. 51 years of making a difference in the “church”, the community, and the world. Please watch for more details in the coming days.
Finally, July is our month of service and there are many opportunities to be of service. Part of our discipleship path is to be of service to others and this month offers us unique opportunities to do so. Please make sure that you see all of the information and announcements in this week’s newsletter.
Hope to see you Sunday!
